  • Solid but sonically confusing at times.

    By DBooswa
When speaking of the songwriting, melodies, and musicianship you've come to expect from Sevendust, the boys deliver. But, I feel the "sound" of this album dilutes its full potential. I noticed a few other people bringing this up, but the compression on this record feels off and the mastered product sounds a bit muddy. Hey, could be my ears from listening to the world through headphones for 25 years, but I was a little sonically disappointed. I was actually stoked this was going to be put out on Rise because I thought the album would sound huge, but alas. The songs are great though! I'll never complain about a Sevendust record because their music means a lot ot me. No complaints here, just observations.
  • Amazing evolution of rock

    By Jake Wish
Simply jaw- dropping. I am a musician and at least as old as the guys in the band, maybe older. This record is a masterpiece of melodic phrases combined with unreal fat crunchy grooves. Unbelievable drummer. Perfect time. It is nice to know such work exists. And on an emotional level it really reaches you, especially for these f’d up times we live in now. Thank you Sevendust for making this record. It is important.

  • They’re back! Awesome album

Sevendust at its best. Like a fine wine matured with age, but still has a bite to it. This album has so many awesome songs on it that I was shocked. I came into this new album thinking there might be one or two good songs, but there are plenty. Don’t hesitate if ur a big Sevendust fan.
  • 20+ years of Sevendust and they’ve still got it!

    By OvenfreshDeth
Even after all this time and twelve studio albums, Sevendust has still got it! This is the man they’ve been comparing AJ Channer from Fire From The Gods to! Remember though, nobody puts it down quite like the best! Welcome to Rise boys. Also, the album is fantastic.

This is another solid album by Sevendust.
  • They ALWAYS deliver...

    By bizzmoneyb
Another quality album delivered. Sevendust are true warriors, putting out albums and touring nearly non-stop for over 20 years now.. and they haven’t missed a beat. They haven’t gone “softer” or “mellowed out” with age. Quite the opposite. This album is filled with heavy riffs and angry lyrics. A quick personal favorite so far is “Risen.” Not many “radio-friendly” songs on this album, but that’s one thing I love about Sevendust... they write and record what they want. Well done gentlemen.

    Great Album
  • Best overall album since Seasons!

    By fangod
Wow Sevendust just keeps cranking out awesome material! I have listened to this album all the way through several times already and I'm ready to say it's my favorite total album since Seasons (which was amazing). Album has such a great feel overall and I find myself getting more hooked on more of the songs. If you love Animosity and Seasons, you'll be very happy with this one. Buy it! And go see this band when they play, they are incredible!
