  • Very 80s

Halt and Catch Fire gives as artful a depiction of the '80s as Mad Men does for the '60s. This album does an excellent job of capturing that feeling and putting you in that time period. I'm surprised this is the only album they put out as the first season soundtrack and music are both phenomenal and give an accurate portrayal of 1984. Another great album is the Legend (Tangerine Dream) soundtrack if you're a fan of Haslinger's music.

Yes I know the opening theme is missing but this album more than makes up for it. It is a world on its own. Just use a pair of headphones, sit in your favorite couch and listen to this album in order. Pleasure to listen to. Pay especial attention to "It speaks".

It's fantastic. Very Risky Business, which mak s sense as Haslinger was part of Tangerine Dream. However, I really wanted the opening theme. Worth the purchase regardless.
